Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead technical teams to research, design, implement, and support a range of products and delivered solutions
  • Develop and maintain technical roadmaps and product investment strategies
  • Apply system design skills to span multiple areas of business, including electronic warfare, RF cyber, applications, middleware, and radio bearers
  • Make technical decisions and solve complex problems, directing engineering teams as needed
  • Lead technical bid efforts and create senior-level technical writing
  • Plan and execute integration, validation, and verification activities to de-risk delivery
  • Engage with stakeholders to establish consensus on solution viability, benefits, and risks
Requirements:
  • System engineering lifecycles, tailoring, and planning
  • Experience working with commercial managers and civil contractors to achieve system installation and deployment
  • Chairing design reviews and requirements elicitation
  • Risk and opportunity management, configuration management, and baseline development
  • Knowledge of electronic warfare, military and civil communications systems, and hardware, firmware, and software
  • Appreciation of production environments, design, and maintenance of manufacturing equipment and test fixtures
  • Product qualification and safety, relevant legislation, and sign-off
  • Environmental regulations and legislation, product sign-off, and EMC regulations and control techniques
