  • Programme and Methods Agreement: Collaborating with planners and production personnel to agree on programmes and construction methods.
  • Resource Management: Marshaling resources for overall control and execution of works, including subcontractor selection.
  • Commercial and Financial Control: Establishing and maintaining commercial and financial control systems, procedures, and standards that meet contractual requirements.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Construction Industry Experience: Proven experience working within the construction industry, specifically on Design and Build, industrial, or commercial projects.
  • Project Delivery Success: A track record of delivering projects as a Site Manager up to £10m-£50m in value.
  • Main Contractor Experience: Previous experience working for a main contractor as a Site Manager or Assistant Site Manager.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
  • Certifications: Current CSCS, SMSTS, and first aid certifications.
  • Site Presentation: Ability to present a clean and tidy site and adhere to considerate contractor requirements.
