Grafton Recruitment is seeking an experienced Interim Senior Collections Officer to join our team. As a key member of our Financial Services division, you will be responsible for negotiating mortgage payment arrangements and finding alternative solutions for customers to minimize debts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with customers to understand their financial situations and provide empathetic support.
- Utilize effective questioning and listening skills to address arrears and negotiate sustainable payment arrangements.
- Manage financial support throughout the customer journey, ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Support the development of team members as a coach and role model, promoting a culture of excellence within the team.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and implement effective solutions to minimize debt and improve customer outcomes.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in mortgage collections, preferably within the Financial Services sector.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards, with a commitment to compliance.
