Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated SENCO to lead our Special Educational Needs department. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of children with special educational needs.

Job Responsibilities
  • Lead the Special Educational Needs department and oversee the development and implementation of individualised learning plans for students with SEND
  • Work closely with teachers, teaching assistants, and other staff members to ensure that students with SEND receive the support they need to succeed
  • Collaborate with external agencies and professionals to develop and implement strategies to support students with SEND
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with parents and carers to ensure that they are informed and involved in their child's education
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong understanding of the National Curriculum and SEND Code of Practice
  • Experience of working with students with a range of special educational needs, including autism, ADHD, and physical disabilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, parents, and carers
  • A proven track record of improving outcomes for students with SEND
Salary and Benefits

The salary for this role is £40,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits, including:
