Tax Senior Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Senior to join our Private Client team in Newcastle. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in driving our firm's growth and success.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare personal tax returns, partnership tax returns, P11Ds and PSAs for a variety of managers.
- Take ownership of various areas of the job, including mentoring, coaching, and training junior team members.
- Maintain open and effective communication with the manager, providing regular progress updates and collaborating on resolving complex matters.
- Proactively manage budgets and time reporting, ensuring accurate and timely recording of billable hours and adherence to agreed-upon budgets and timelines.
- Foster strong client relationships by consistently delivering excellent client service and maintaining professionalism.
- ATT Part Qualified
- Minimum of 1.5 years relevant UK work experience
- Experience in preparing personal tax returns
- Thorough knowledge of current accounting standards, techniques, and best practice
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and client relationship management skills with a collaborative approach
- Ability to provide guidance/training to junior staff members
