About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and caring individual to join our team as a Care Assistant. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our customers, enabling them to live independently and maintain their dignity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care and support to customers, including bathing, dressing, and toileting
  • Assist customers with daily living tasks, such as meal preparation and household chores
  • Encourage customers to participate in social activities and engage in conversation to build trusted relationships
  • Work collaboratively with the care team to identify and meet the needs of customers
  • Maintain accurate records of care and support provided, ensuring customer confidentiality is observed at all times

Requirements

  • Experience of working in a customer-focused environment, providing personal care and support to a diverse group of people
  • Basic administrative skills and IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to use initiative and confidence to make and act on decisions
  • Flexibility to work a range of shifts on a 24-hour, 7-day per week rota basis
