About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced PLC Programmer and Controls Engineer to join our team at Black Fox Solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading in the full software development lifecycle, providing technical direction and mentoring to identify solutions to realize design.
Main Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, program, test, and improve software solutions
- Develop PLC software control systems
- Provide technical direction and mentoring to development teams
- Research and test manufacturing and assembly methods and materials
- Work on R&D projects to expand the current product range and bring new products to the market
- Ensure product quality by designing electrical testing methods and testing finished products and system capabilities
- Provide engineering information by answering questions and requests
Requirements:
- HND or equivalent in electronic/electrical engineering or relevant working engineering experience
- Minimum 5 years postgraduate work experience in a similar design software role
- Experience in software programming with Danfoss, Codesys, and Siemens
- Able to read and create detailed electrical drawings
- Detailed knowledge of current regulations and electrical design standards
