Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Adults Lawyer to join our team at CV-Library. As a Private Client Solicitor, you will be responsible for dealing with the administration of estates from start to finish, including preparation and application for Grant of Probate and Letters of Administration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Dealing with administration of estates from start to finish
  • Preparation and application for Grant of Probate and Letters of Administration
  • Completion of and dealing with all tax forms, in respect of Inheritance Tax, Income Tax and Capital Gains Tax and advising with regard to the same
  • Attending to house clearances where appropriate
  • Collecting in and realising assets and paying liabilities
  • Distributing the estate and preparing income and distribution accounts
  • Advising with regard to Tax mitigation and Deeds of Variation and dealing with the same

Requirements

  • Proven experience in Private Client work
  • Strong knowledge of probate and estate administration
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
