Job Title: Part Time Nursery Practitioner

At Inspired Education Group, we are seeking a dedicated and passionate Part Time Nursery Practitioner to join our team at Chepstow House School and Little Chepstow Nursery.

About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic practitioner to work alongside the Class Teacher to care for the daily needs of up to 20 children within the 2-5 year old age range. The successful candidate will have outstanding Early Years experience and be an engaging professional.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Help plan and present lessons and activities in accordance with the EYFS.
  • Oversee a group of Key Children and maintain records and keep up-to-date observations.
  • Work closely with the team to provide an outstanding learning environment.
  • Liaise and build strong links with parents to promote our 'Parent Teacher Partnership'.
Requirements:
  • Facilitate learning by planning and teaching according to the areas set out in the EYFS.
  • Organise the classroom and resources to ensure the smooth running of the group and their learning experiences.
  • Have a clear understanding of what constitutes quality care and education and a thorough knowledge of child development and the EYFS.
  • Encourage child-initiated tasks and provide differentiated work.
  • Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of safeguarding children.
  • Understand what constitutes good health and safety practices.
  • Ensure that best practice is employed within Early Years teaching.
  • Show personal and professional integrity and confidentiality.
  • Provide a warm, caring, and stimulating environment for the children.
  • Keep written records on key children and liaise with parents as required.
  • Write positive reports on children's progress in line with school report writing policy.
  • Work effectively within a team, giving support to colleagues.
  • Attend and contribute to Staff Meetings, training sessions, and Inset Days.
