Inventory Management Advisor Role Brief:
This exciting opportunity as an Inventory Management Advisor at Group 1 Automotive is perfect for those who enjoy working in a dynamic retail environment and are passionate about inventory management. You will be a key member of the Retail Centre team, responsible for guiding customers on part availability, receiving, logging, and allocating parts, and maintaining accurate customer records.

About the Job:
This role involves working with world-class brands to provide outstanding customer service, requiring excellent communication and organisational skills. You will be dealing with customers face-to-face or over the phone, providing accurate information on part availability and ensuring timely delivery. Additionally, you will receive, log, and accurately allocate parts and consumables from suppliers, maintain accurate customer records, and effectively communicate relevant promotions and product information.

Responsibilities:

Your Qualifications:
To succeed in this role, you will need:
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • A strong ability to meet deadlines and prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Capability to maintain a methodical and logical approach, particularly during busy periods.
  • Exceptional time management skills and the ability to thrive under pressure.
  • Proficiency in IT, with experience of using web-based systems, email, and Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • A full UK driving licence.
