About This Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to join our team as a Senior Construction Manager. The role involves overseeing multiple projects in various stages of pre-construction and construction, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality results.

As a key member of the project team, you will be responsible for managing every aspect of the contractual side, focusing on delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Leading a team of construction workers and subcontractors to deliver groundworks and civil works projects.
  • Ensuring accurate cost forecasting and budgeting through collaboration with project teams.
  • Monitoring progress, quality, and health and safety compliance during site visits and liaison with project managers.
  • Developing and managing project schedules, budgets, and resources to meet deadlines and quality standards.
  • Managing a team of professionals to drive site construction progress, emphasizing safety, quality, and schedule.
  • Fostering a culture of continuous improvement in health and safety practices and processes.
  • Maintaining relationships with clients, stakeholders, and suppliers to ensure effective communication and problem-solving.
  • Candidates must possess proficiency in handling groundworks and civil quantity surveying projects, experience working within groundworks and concrete, and strong health and safety/quality knowledge (tier 1 level).

What We Offer

The successful candidate can expect a competitive yearly salary of around £62,000 plus car allowance, package, and bonus.
