We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commis Chef to join our culinary team at Kanpai Food & Beverage Management Co., Ltd.
About the Role
The Commis Chef will play a vital role in supporting our kitchen team and ensuring the smooth operation of our culinary services.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare all mise-en-place and dishes with the kitchen team, adhering to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
- Ensure compliance with our in-house HACCP and food hygiene, health, and safety systems, maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
- Oversee the proper stocking and storage of ingredients and supplies, minimizing waste and optimizing inventory.
- Assist in menu planning and development, collaborating with the culinary team to create innovative and delicious dishes.
- Contribute to the maintenance of a positive and productive kitchen culture, fostering a team-oriented environment.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Commis Chef or equivalent role in a high-volume kitchen environment.
- Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices, with a focus on HACCP and food handling procedures.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen setting.
