About the Role

Pontoon Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Treasury Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing the company's daily liquidity and investment portfolio.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Liquidity Management: Oversee the company's daily liquidity management, ensuring all accounts are funded appropriately and investments are in line with policy.
  2. Settlements and Reconciliations: Support the Finance Graduate in processing and approving Treasury settlements in a timely manner, and maintain accurate reconciliations.
  3. Process Improvement: Develop and maintain processes and controls to ensure robust cash management, and identify opportunities for improvement.
  4. Investment Strategy: Collaborate with the Senior Treasury Analyst to review and analyze market data, providing insights to inform the company's investment strategy.
  5. Intercompany Settlements: Manage the company's Intercompany settlement process, ensuring accurate and timely reconciliations.
  6. Reporting and Analysis: Prepare various reports, including the CDS report, interest receivable, and intercompany forecasts, providing analysis and commentary for senior management.
  7. System Expertise: Develop expertise in the Reval system, leveraging its capabilities to optimize cash management, collateral, and reconciliations.
  8. Process Automation: Review, develop, and automate Treasury processes and procedures, leveraging systems where possible.
  9. Business Partnering: Develop strong relationships with internal stakeholders, assisting the business in meeting its objectives and demonstrating strong business partnering skills.
  10. External Relationships: Develop relationships with Financial Institutions and system providers, leveraging these relationships to achieve Treasury objectives.
Requirements
  1. Qualifications: Ideally part-qualified AAT/ACA/ACCA/CIMA/ACT or studying towards.
  2. Experience: Experience working in corporate treasury, with a focus on liquidity management.
  3. Skills: Strong time management and communication skills, high levels of attention to detail, and willingness to develop skills to become a Junior Trader.
  4. Education: Advanced MS Office skills, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
