**Job Title:** Senior Mechanical Site Manager

 

A prestigious M&E contractor, based in Manchester city centre, is seeking an ambitious Senior Mechanical Site Manager to lead the HVAC fit-out elements of their new build development.

 

You will have the opportunity to prove yourself within a company working on some of Manchester's most prestigious projects. As a key member of the management team, you will be responsible for managing the entire HVAC fit-out process, including general assistance with the operations manager and technical liaison with clients, suppliers, and sub-contractors.

 

**Responsibilities:**

  • Manage the entire HVAC fit-out process
  • General assistance with the operations manager
  • Technical liaison and review with externals (clients, suppliers, sub-contractors)
  • Attending meetings and site visits as/when required
  • Able to work and learn site management procedures
  • Develop your role and advance responsibilities further

 

**Requirements:**

  1. Previous experience working on projects worth £1,000,000 upwards (M&E value)
  2. Able to use Microsoft packages and read/interpret drawings
  3. NVQ, HNC or relative mechanical building services qualifications are desirable but NOT essential to the role
  4. Time served in a HVAC discipline is essential
  5. Experience in a supervisory capacity managing sub-contractors and suppliers is essential
  6. Ability to communicate at all levels and be comfortable speaking with clients
  7. Advantageous if you came from a plumbing and/or heating background

 

**Package:**

  • Salary negotiable depending on experience (£47,500 - £49,000)
