Job Summary:

GSL Education is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Graduate Teaching Assistant to join their team in supporting the education of post 16 students. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain valuable experience in education and make a positive impact on students' lives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with teachers to deliver engaging lessons and provide individualized support to students.
  • Work with small groups and individual students to enhance their learning experience.
  • Prepare and maintain a well-organized classroom environment, ensuring all necessary materials and resources are available.
  • Assist in managing classroom behavior and promoting a positive learning atmosphere.

Requirements:

  • A recent degree in any subject.
  • Experience in an educational setting is advantageous, but not essential.
  • A genuine passion for working with post 16 students and a commitment to education.
  • An updated CV and an enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
  • A strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection principles.
