About the Role


At Alstom, we are seeking an experienced Logistics Support Analysis Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing maintenance strategies for our rail projects, ensuring that our equipment is designed for serviceability and maintainability.



Key Responsibilities

  • Influence the design for integration of maintainability constraints, including requirements for predictive maintenance and proactive maintenance
  • Manage and execute logistics support analysis activities to deliver quality, cost, and delivery commitments in coordination with the ISR management plan
  • Identify and manage logistics cost performance in compliance with design for serviceability targets
  • Define maintenance plans and designs of logistics support analysis elements, including maintenance task allocation, logistics cost calculations, and logistics operating and resource analysis
  • Define spare part allocation and capitalise data in the central ISR repository
  • Write logistics support analysis management plans and ensure technical interfaces with relevant teams
  • Ensure that design for serviceability is correctly applied on subsystems and components
  • Manage definition of logistics breakdown structures in consistency with design engineering BOM definitions
  • Elaborate logistics support analysis plans and logistics cost calculations
  • Manage relationships with procurement for ISR requirements
  • Ensure logistics support analysis databases are defined and completed correctly
  • Ensure compliance between spare part consumption models and maintenance strategies
  • Validate content of technical maintenance documentation


About You

We are looking for an experienced logistics support analysis specialist who can bring their expertise in developing and implementing maintenance strategies to our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of logistics support analysis principles and practices, as well as experience in managing logistics support analysis activities.


The successful candidate will be able to work collaboratively with our design engineering, procurement, and operations teams to ensure that our equipment is designed for serviceability and maintainability.


Key skills and qualifications include:



  • Engineering university degree or equivalent
  • Experience in the development of maintenance strategies and methods
  • Strong experience in a previous similar role
  • Strong knowledge of UK rolling stock maintenance
  • Experience in maintenance execution
  • Experience in design for serviceability and logistics support analysis engineering
