About the Job
We are seeking a skilled procurement professional to join our team as a Category Management Lead. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing category strategies, managing commercial relationships, and driving business outcomes. This is an excellent opportunity for a talented individual who is passionate about procurement and has a proven track record in category management, contract negotiation, and supplier relationship management.

Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering joined-up procurement and supply chain strategies, aligned to the full procurement lifecycle. This will involve executing commercial and contractual activity for designated suppliers/categories, developing account plans, and managing supplier governance. You will also own and manage commercial contract risks, ensuring mechanisms are in place to identify, report, manage, and mitigate risk within a defined risk appetite.

Requirements
The ideal candidate will have knowledge of multiple procurement categories, ideally with experience in data provision and IT contracting. A financial services background or experience in a regulated environment would be beneficial. You will need to demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, including effective communication, relationship building, and stakeholder management.
