About the Role:

We are excited to announce the opening of our new engineering office to solidify and grow our presence in the industry. Working alongside our highly successful and dynamic multi-disciplinary teams, you'll have the opportunity to refine your skills across a variety of greenfield projects and brownfield upgrades.

  • Mechanical Layout Designer - All Levels
  • Piping Designer - All Levels

Brief Duties:

As a Designer at G&S Engineering, you will be hands on in providing timely and professional delivery of project deliverables in accordance with the company, client and projects requirements such as but limiting to:

  • Produce models and detailed technical drawings, in accordance with standards, policies and procedures.
  • Liaise daily with Project Managers, Designers, Engineers and clients.

About You:

Our ideal candidate would be technically savvy, good at expressing themselves, self-motivated, and able to manage their own workload plus that of a small project team. We are looking for someone with:

  • 7+ years relevant experience in a similar mechanical designer position working on mining and minerals projects.
  • Previous experience in mining and mineral processing within an EPCM.
  • Experience in designing and constructing facilities for base metals, rare earth minerals, and mineral processing.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel and Word.
