Exciting Opportunity: Lead Our Loft Installation and Joinery Division

We are seeking an experienced Loft Installation and Joinery Specialist to head up our brand-new division in ICE Thermal, part of ICE Services Group. This role involves overseeing all operational aspects of jobs, including completing surveys, sending quotes, installing loft insulation, flooring, and ladders, and managing stock.

About The Role
  • You will receive enquiries from our sales team at our head office in Kent.
  • Perform surveys and installations throughout London and the South East.
  • Manage stock, including job materials and waste.

You will be responsible for:

  • Installing insulation materials in buildings or structures according to specification.
  • Measuring and cutting insulation materials to fit specific areas.
  • Applying insulation materials using various techniques such as welding, fabricating, and hand tools.
  • Ensuring proper sealing and insulation to maintain energy efficiency.
  • Painting or finishing insulation materials as required.
  • Repairing or replacing damaged insulation as needed.
  • Will require frequent travel around the area.

About Installations

  • You will work with domestic customers.
  • You will have access to our CRM system that provides all the information regarding the job requirements and checklists to be completed.
  • Fitting loft roll insulation.
  • Installation of ladders - timber, aluminium, telescopic.
  • Fitting facings on timber ladders, caulk edges and nailheads.

About You

  • You should have experience of installing loft insulation and fitting different types of loft ladders and creating new openings.
  • You should have knowledge of different types of insulation materials and their applications.
  • You must be well-spoken in English, able to be courteous and polite with customers always.
  • You should be flexible in the timing of jobs.
  • You should be physically able to meet the demands of loft work - lifting, stretching, crouching often in confined spaces for prolonged periods.
  • You should hold a driving licence and willingness to travel long distances frequently.

Salary

£45,000 - £55,000 per annum (dependent on experience), plus benefits.
