Administrative Support Role in the School of Education, Sport and Health Sciences

Location: Falmer campus

Job Type: Full-time, 37.0 hours per week

Contract: Permanent

We are seeking a highly organized and communicative administrative support officer to join our team in the School of Education, Sport and Health Sciences. As a key member of our team, you will provide administrative support to senior school managers and academic staff, ensuring the smooth operation of the school's administrative functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to senior school managers and academic staff
  • Coordinate and deliver effective administration to support the school's functions, including events, committees, financial administration, information and data management, systems administration, and recruitment administration
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with colleagues, students, and external partners
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of administrative tasks and reports

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and numeracy skills
  • Ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
