Machining Technician

About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Machining Technician to join our team at McLaren Group. As a key member of our machine shop, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient production of high-quality components for our racing cars.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and pre-set tooling assemblies to meet production deadlines
- Operate multi-axis CNC machine tools to manufacture precision components
- Assist in job pack preparation, including material preparation and delivery
- Support the team leader in managing the workflow of the shop
- Maintain inspection and tooling records for all components produced
- Contribute to the cleanliness and housekeeping of the workplace
Requirements:
- Previous experience in operating CNC machine tools and manufacturing small batch precision components
- Ability to read and understand complex engineering drawings
- High level of manual dexterity for deburring and tapping
- Experience of sympathetic component handling and packing
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft products, such as Word and Excel
- Previous experience in document creation and record keeping
