We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Multi Skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our innovative team at Warburtons Ltd. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for performing planned and preventative maintenance, using your engineering expertise to develop robust, long-term solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Perform planned and preventative maintenance on a wide variety of equipment, including bulk handling systems, processing and packaging, site services, and PLC control systems.
- Identify and complete continuous improvement projects aimed at increasing plant efficiency, reducing downtime, and saving energy and associated costs.
- Work in a cutting-edge, highly automated 24/7 food manufacturing environment, fostering and implementing new ideas and perspectives while driving continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with production, safety, and hygiene departments to ensure seamless operations and high-quality products.
- Essential experience in mechanical and electrical engineering, with a strong understanding of maintenance in a FMCG/manufacturing environment.
- Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis skills, with the ability to work a 4 on 4 off shift pattern.
- Familiarity with H&S and Food Safety systems and legislation, including PUWER and IOSH.
- Engineering qualification, such as an Apprenticeship, HNC, BTEC, or equivalent.
