Senior / Principal Ecologist - Bat Technical Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior / Principal Ecologist - Bat Technical Specialist to join our team at Tetra Tech. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and guidance on bat-related projects, working closely with our experienced team to deliver high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical expertise on bat-related projects, including habitat assessment, species identification, and mitigation strategies.
  • Develop and implement effective bat conservation plans, working closely with clients and stakeholders.
  • Conduct field surveys and monitoring programs to assess bat populations and habitats.
  • Collaborate with our team to develop and deliver high-quality reports and presentations.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in bat ecology and conservation.

Requirements:

  • BER Registered Consultant or equivalent experience.
  • Natural England Class 2 or above bat licence.
  • Recent experience working on mitigation licensed projects.
  • Strong technical expertise in bat ecology and conservation.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
