We are currently seeking a skilled Senior Site Engineer to lead our construction projects in South Yorkshire. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing project operations, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and promoting high-quality work practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Health, Safety, Environment, Quality (HSEQ): Implement and enforce HSEQ policies and procedures on site.
  • Site Personnel Management: Supervise and guide site staff through inductions, risk assessments, and method statements.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the project team to meet high-quality standards and achieve project objectives.
  • Procedures and Forms: Develop and maintain systems for reporting accidents, managing permits to work, and controlling temporary works.
  • Contract Documentation: Monitor and update drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
  • Programme Risk Communication: Communicate programme risks to the project manager and document contractual correspondence.
  • Daily Record Keeping: Maintain precise records for labour, materials, and plant usage, including subcontractor data.
  • Variations and Implications: Notify the project manager and commercial manager of any changes and their potential impact.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Salary: Estimated 52,500 - 57,500 per year, plus car allowance or company vehicle.
