Senior Procurement Systems Manager

Croydon Council is seeking a highly skilled Senior Procurement Systems Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Strategic Procurement and Governance team, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of procurement systems that support the Council's strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain procurement systems to ensure efficient and effective procurement processes
- Lead the development of strategic procurement systems to improve planning and tracking of procurements
- Develop and enhance Oracle Fusion (or equivalent) system functionality to improve the purchase to pay process
- Continuously improve the functionality of the e-tendering system to support the strategic procurement process
- Develop system controls to aid compliance to policies and procedures
- Detailed knowledge of P2P and strategic procurement systems functionality
- Working knowledge of change management and project management within a context of system development and implementation
- Public Sector procurement experience
- Comprehensive staff development programs
- Progression opportunities within the Council
- A forward-thinking team that embraces new ideas and approaches to procurement
