Job Title: DT Educator

We are seeking an enthusiastic and ambitious DT Educator to lead a team of dedicated teachers and hard-working pupils at our school in St Albans, Hertfordshire. The ideal candidate will have the drive and commitment to raise achievement and contribute to the further development of the school.

As a DT Educator, you will be responsible for designing and delivering engaging lessons that cater to the needs of our students. You will work closely with colleagues to ensure that our students receive a well-rounded education that prepares them for success in their future careers.

The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills, inter-personal skills, and high expectations of both self and others. They will also have a passion for teaching and learning, as well as a commitment to excellence.

We offer a competitive salary of £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition, we provide opportunities for professional development, a supportive governing body, and a friendly and well-behaved pupil body.

To succeed in this role, you will need to have:
  • A degree in Education or a related field.
  • Experience in teaching Design Technology or a related subject.
  • Excellent communication and inter-personal skills.
  • High expectations of both self and others.
