Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and versatile Maintenance Engineer to join our team at one of our manufacturing sites. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of our production facilities by maintaining, repairing, and improving machinery and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on production equipment to identify and resolve potential issues before they cause disruptions.
  • Perform machine adjustments and changeovers to support production line efficiency and minimize downtime.
  • Monitor and calibrate equipment to ensure accuracy, quality, and safety standards are met.
  • Collaborate with production teams to identify opportunities for process improvement and provide technical expertise to enhance productivity.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including maintenance schedules, repairs, and spare parts inventory.
  • Adhere to health and safety guidelines and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry advancements and new technologies relevant to the role.
Requirements:
  • NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems is ideal.
  • Proficient in troubleshooting and repairing industrial machinery, including conveyors, motors, pumps, and packaging equipment.
  • Proactive approach to maintenance and a commitment to ensuring the highest levels of equipment reliability.
