About the Position

As a Stock Management Specialist at SSE, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our distribution network. Your primary responsibility will be to manage stock levels, oversee ordering and deliveries, and maintain accurate records of stock movements and orders.

This is a permanent, full-time position with a competitive salary range of £33,063 - £38,404 per annum, plus a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing, and family.

To succeed in this role, you will need strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a keen eye for detail. Previous experience working in a stores environment and holding a counterbalance forklift license are highly desirable. You should also be comfortable using IT systems, particularly Microsoft packages such as Word, Outlook, and Excel.

A full UK driving license is required, although company vehicle provision is not offered with this role. You will work closely with our logistics providers to resolve any stock and delivery-related issues, including taking action to resolve materials shortages.

Key Responsibilities:

  2. Oversee ordering and deliveries to the site.
  3. Maintain accurate records of stock movements and orders.
  4. Work with logistics providers to resolve stock and delivery issues.
