Physiotherapist Functional Assessor Opportunity

Maximus is seeking a skilled Physiotherapist to join our team as a Functional Assessor. In this role, you will use your clinical expertise to understand how a person's disability or health condition affects their daily life.

About the Role

As a Physiotherapist Functional Assessor, you will conduct telephone, video, or face-to-face assessments to gather information about a person's condition and its impact on their daily life. You will then use this information to produce Work Capability Assessment (WCA) reports to help the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) determine a person's eligibility for benefits.

Requirements

  • Valid HCPC registration number
  • At least 1 year of broad post-registration experience gained within or outside of the NHS
  • You MUST have the right to work in the UK - we cannot offer sponsorships
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Comfortable using computer software to type and produce detailed reports
