About the Role

Tradebe is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to lead our nuclear waste management projects. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing projects and tasks, working with cross-functional teams, and ensuring project risks are identified and mitigated.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Manage projects and tasks from cradle to grave, ensuring timely delivery and effective resource allocation.
  2. Develop a deep understanding of project requirements, working closely with the Head of Technology and senior project managers.
  3. Utilize appropriate tools and software to forecast, control, and report on project progress.
  4. Identify and manage project risks, ensuring they are mitigated or managed appropriately.
  5. Accountable for project planning, committing to customer milestones and internal deadlines.
  6. Share best practices and knowledge with staff to improve Tradebe project management capability.
  7. Support operational management through project financial planning, reporting, resourcing, and attention to financial KPIs.
  8. Provide technical leadership, advice, and guidance to customers and the Tradebe business on radioactive waste throughout the waste lifecycle.
  9. Build strong working relationships with senior technical contacts at nuclear, industrial, waste recycling, and disposal sites.

Requirements

  1. Technical experience in dealing with nuclear waste.
  2. Qualified to degree level in a relevant Science or Engineering Discipline.
  3. Ability to work under specified and agreed time constraints.
  4. Professional and positive approach.
  5. Dynamic and creative, with a strong customer service focus.
  6. Ability to influence cross-functional teams and work as a team player.
