Overview of the Role

Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust is a leading healthcare provider in London, seeking a highly motivated Medical Support Assistant to join its dental services team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and have a strong understanding of patient care.

Main Responsibilities

  • Support day-to-day clinical activities in the undergraduate or postgraduate department.
  • Work alongside the dental nursing team to ensure effective delivery of oral and dental care.
  • Maintain accurate records of stock levels and ordering procedures.
  • Liaise with the sterile services team to ensure timely returns of equipment.

Key Skills and Qualifications

  • Prior experience as a healthcare assistant in a hospital or registered care setting.
  • Excellent customer care skills and ability to work independently.
  • Knowledge of care and related procedures, with clear and accurate written and verbal communication.
