Deputy Head of Year Lead

About the Role:
The successful candidate will provide critical support to the Year Head in promoting positive attitudes and approaches to learning, and be the first point of contact for parents with queries about support for their child. This role is a key part of our pastoral team, focusing on behaviour, attendance, and personal excellence. You will work closely with staff, parents, and external agencies to develop and implement effective strategies to support student learning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Year Head in developing and implementing strategies to improve student behaviour and attendance
- Work closely with parents and external agencies to develop positive relationships and support student learning
- Contribute to the overall management of support and care for students
- Be a key member of the pastoral team, promoting positive attitudes and approaches to learning
