Service Manager Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Service Manager to join our team at Care First UK Recruitment Solutions. As a Service Manager, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of running a supported living service, including supervision of staff, care planning, quality assurance, and budget management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with individuals and their families to support them in their decisions about how they live their lives and ensure their personal needs are met.
  • Manage staff supervision, rotas, care planning, quality assurance, training, budget management, and medication management.
  • Monitor activities and ensure the quality of support and care meets our policy and sector regulatory standards.
  • Create a culture of team development and teamwork that aspires to best practices for individuals using our services.
  • Represent the organisation in an appropriate and professional manner in all internal and external contact and relationships.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 years experience as a Service Manager managing services working with individuals with learning disabilities, Autism, or associated complex needs.
  • Relevant health or social care qualification (NVQ Level 5) or other professional qualifications such as Nursing, OT, or social work.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of best practice in managing challenging behaviour using a positive behaviour support approach.
  • Willingness to work flexibly on a rota to meet the needs of the service, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
