About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team at Vistry Group, a leading provider of affordable mixed-tenure homes. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of construction projects, ensuring that all budget, risk, specification, project timescales, customer, and business objectives are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the safety and welfare of the general public, staff, and supply chain within your control, adhering to Vistry's safety policy.
  • Drive the delivery of continuous safety improvements and ensure the successful safe completion of projects.
  • Collaborate with the Project Design Co-ordinator to manage internal/external design teams/consultants to meet project deadlines and contract design requirements.
  • Work collaboratively with the project MQS, QS, and Buying team to procure efficiently and to programme to meet both the budget and programme needs.
  • Encourage and coach team members to develop their skills, providing regular feedback and challenging learning experiences.
  • Ensure employees feel motivated and engaged to deliver excellence.
  • Manage liaisons, interfaces, and contacts with project clients and stakeholders to maintain positive and ongoing customer relationships.
  • Manage all correspondence related to the project.
  • Develop detailed plans commensurate with the overall project plan to procure and schedule material, resources, and supply chain.
  • Chair site meetings, progress meetings, safety meetings, and project reviews with all stakeholders, producing formal client and internal project reports and drop line programmes.
  • Ensure all additional work is identified, fully costed, and agreed with the client.
  • Understand and appreciate the commercial implications and drivers within the construction process, incorporating these within decision-making.
  • Strategically produce and regularly review the project programme (including Procurement & Design) to ensure completion on time.
  • Ensure Vistry processes on site are adhered to.
  • Ensure all team members are fully inducted and carry out role-specific requirements, identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Ensure team members understand any sustainability practices relevant to their role and encourage continuous improvement.
