UK Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Lead

Job Purpose:
We are seeking a skilled Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) professional to lead our UK DEI agenda. As a key member of our team, you will drive business outcomes by understanding and anticipating the internal and external DEI landscape, identifying future challenges and opportunities, and developing impactful approaches and programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the UK DEI strategy, working with leaders at all levels of the organization to develop and implement DEI programs with a project management lens.
- Stay current on internal and external DEI landscape and emerging concepts, identifying future challenges and opportunities, and using DEI expertise and data-driven insights to diagnose, design, and deliver impactful DEI approaches and programs.
- Partner with key HR stakeholders, such as Global and US DEI teams and Recruitment, to support GSK's global DEI and UK ambitions.
- Represent GSK at external bodies, such as the Department for Work and Pensions Business Leader Group, advising on Disability practices and the Disability Confident scheme.
- Utilize GSK tools and partner with data teams to conduct regular DEI data analysis of internal activity and prepare regular measurement and insights.
Requirements:
- Experience of working in DEI roles in large and highly matrixed, cross-border, cross-cultural organizations.
- Recognized expertise in DEI with strong external DEI networks, credibility, and ability to pull on this network to provide insight to GSK's DEI agenda.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to develop high-quality recommendations.
- Experience translating complex DEI data into meaningful narratives that will inform our DEI strategy, decision-making, and tracking program success.
