Training and Development Expert

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Training and Development Expert to join our team at Voyage Care Ltd. As a key member of our Learning and Development Team, you will play a vital role in delivering training and development programs that meet the needs of our employees and support our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and deliver training programs that cater to the diverse needs of our employees, including induction, mandatory, value-based, and specialism training.

2. Collaborate with internal and external Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to ensure training content remains up-to-date and aligned with current legislation, standards, and company policies.

3. Work closely with the Senior Training Team to design and implement training programs that meet individual and service needs, ensuring effective resource utilization and appropriateness of delivery.

4. Maintain accurate records of course attendance and training using the available systems within the business.

5. Evaluate the effectiveness of learning materials and update them accordingly to ensure continuous improvement.

6. Contribute to all aspects of training and assessment throughout the organization to ensure a fully qualified workforce, compliant with National Minimum Standards, Regulatory Requirements, and Policy & Procedure.

7. Provide operations with advice, support, and guidance regarding training and assist with the development of new services and newly recruited staff.

Requirements:

Essential:

Good general level of education, including English and Maths to GCSE standard.

Level 3 Award in Education & Training, PTLLS, Cert Ed, or equivalent.

2 years' experience in a training role.

Developed and delivered training for employees at various levels.

Evaluation and assessment of training.

Different training and assessment methods (including remote and classroom delivery).

Knowledge of learning disabilities, autism, brain injury rehabilitation, and mental health.

Good working knowledge of regulatory requirements, legislation, policies, procedures, and business processes.

Desirable:

Relevant Health and Social Care qualification or current knowledge.

Relevant management or professional qualification.

Training requirements associated with the Care Standards/Act.

National Minimum Standards.

Providing care for vulnerable people in various living situations.
