Perioperative Practitioner Opportunity

The Montefiore Hospital is seeking an experienced Perioperative Practitioner to join our established Theatre team.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist in scrubbing for consultant-led surgeries, including orthopaedics, cosmetics, gynaecology, and ENT procedures.
• Assess patient health and wellbeing across a complex and changing caseload.
• Develop care plans tailored to individual patients, considering care pathways, perioperative risks, and patient wellbeing.

Requirements:

• Qualified ODP/Scrub Nurse with anaesthetic experience.
• NMC or HCPC registration with no restrictions.
• Minimum 2 years scrub experience, with orthopaedic experience highly desirable.
• Proven track record in a surgical/Theatre setting.

Working Arrangements:

• Full-time, 37.5 hours per week, over 4 days, including on-call shifts.
• Weekday shifts, Monday to Saturday.
