The role of Estimator Bespoke Joinery involves working with a range of bespoke joinery and shop fit-out projects for main contractors and high-end users. Key responsibilities include:

  1. Reviewing tender enquiries to determine the scope of works and project deadlines
  2. Producing BOQs from drawings to enable timely returns of quotations for customer deadlines
  3. Maintaining good documentation of tenders and quotations on an internal database
  4. Communicating with customers to address queries and provide additional technical information
  5. Establishing and maintaining relationships with contractors and suppliers
  6. Working on projects ranging in value from £10k to £300k

The ideal candidate will have:

  1. Estimating experience within the joinery/bespoke joinery/cabinet maker/bespoke furniture market sectors
  2. Good technical knowledge and understanding of industry processes, materials, and costs
  3. Highly organized with good attention to detail
  4. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  5. Computer literacy (Microsoft Office)
  6. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  7. Good team player who also works well individually
