About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work as a Technician for Medequip Connect, a leading provider of Technology Enabled Care (TEC) services. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for facilitating the installation of TEC equipment, providing a professional support service, and ensuring that our clients receive the highest level of care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Complete installations, repair, maintenance, and collection of TEC equipment
  • Identify clients' current needs by completing/updating assessments
  • Set-up client equipment and process/recycle returned equipment and clean it
  • Update client record database
  • Report and action faulty equipment
  • Be responsible for stock and undertake auditing of the stock
  • Ensure any company vehicle and any tools or equipment is properly maintained
  • Assist in any projects as and when required
  • Provide information and coaching to individuals in the use of their alarm equipment
  • Work with clients, their families, and third-party professionals such as GPs, nurses, social workers, and voluntary groups
  • Assist the Area Manager with the promotion of Medequip Connect in the area and establish links within local communities to raise awareness of our services
  • Point clients in the right direction for advice, information, and support, and ensure preventative action by effective signposting

Qualifications and Experience

  • Full UK Driving License
  • Ideally some experience in a similar role and industry
  • Good customer service skills and excellent communication
