Lead Engineer Site Safety and Security

Job Summary:
We are looking for a Lead Engineer Site Safety and Security to join our team in Barrow-in-Furness or Filton. The successful candidate will be responsible for deterministic nuclear safety assessment and authoring nuclear safety cases for build and commission of Dreadnought and future class submarines.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement nuclear safety assessments and safety cases for submarine construction projects.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.Author and maintain up-to-date safety documentation, including safety cases and risk assessments.Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you will need:
A degree in a relevant field (e.g., engineering, physics, or a related discipline).Significant experience in nuclear safety assessment and safety case development.Knowledge of UK nuclear regulations and industry standards (e.g., HSE, AEA).Excellent communication and project management skills.Salary Information:
The salary for this role is estimated to be around £75,000 per annum, based on national averages and industry benchmarks.
