About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at a client who is undergoing an exciting period of growth. As a key member of the Engineering function, you will play a crucial role in delivering a world-class service in a fast-paced environment.

The focus of this role is to ensure safe operation and equipment reliability to meet production demands. You will be responsible for coordinating and conducting all routine preventive and reactive asset maintenance, ensuring work is completed safely according to company and legislative standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure all site manufacturing and equipment is fully compliant with respect to technical safety legislation, testing and inspections.
  • Track, analyze and report asset reliability performance and issues to identify maintenance and equipment improvement needs.
  • Lead on asset and equipment technical issues, resolving through fault finding and problem solving with the support of manufacturing resources, OEM's and contract service providers.
  • Identify critical spares, order and maintain inventory to agreed stock levels.
  • Maintain site and equipment housekeeping in compliance to agreed standards.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Fully qualified Mechanical Maintenance Technician, accredited to a minimum NVQ Level 3 or BTEC.
  • Experience of PPM Implementation, delivery and control within a maintenance background.
  • A strong working knowledge of continuous improvement / operational excellence delivering using 5S, Lean Manufacturing and Root Cause Problem Solving.
