Quantity Surveyor (Engineering Services)

This award-winning UK company provides a company car, training, and a clear route for progression. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be instrumental in ensuring the efficient execution of projects. Reporting to the Head of Commercial & Technical Director, you will collaborate with Project and Installation Managers to manage costs, contracts, and risks, with a strong emphasis on health and safety. Key responsibilities include building client relationships, delivering precise reports, and contributing to the overall success of each project.

The Role:
  1. Lead project oversight from inception to completion
  2. Collaborate with clients to evaluate project feasibility and refine proposals
  3. Conduct comprehensive assessments of material quantities, costs, and resource requirements pre-tender
  4. Provide continuous support throughout the project lifecycle, overseeing subcontractors and construction phases
  5. Cultivate strong client and team relationships, facilitating seamless collaboration
The Person:
  1. Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or a relevant field
  2. Demonstrated experience as a Quantity Surveyor within construction or related sectors
  3. Proficiency in ISO standards and construction regulations
  4. Expertise in cost control, financial analysis, and reporting
