Panel Wireman/Workshop Supervisor

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Panel Wireman/Workshop Supervisor to join our team at our offices in Astbury, Congleton. The successful candidate will be responsible for building, assembling, wiring, and testing control panels using our in-house drawing packages.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble and wire control panels according to technical drawings and specifications
• Work closely with our team of Engineers to ensure high-quality panel assembly and compliance with industry regulations
• Oversee the receipt and storage of incoming items, administer a basic stock control system, and maintain accurate inventory records
• Coordinate the efficient use of labelling systems and ensure workshop space is utilized effectively
• Oversee the calibration of test equipment and maintain a clean and tidy working environment

Requirements

• Experience in Panel Wiring and Control System Assembly
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams
• Experience with tools and equipment used in Panel Building
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
