Physical Education Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and innovative Physical Education Specialist to lead our sports development program at Waitākiri Primary School in Canterbury.
The successful candidate will work collaboratively with other teachers to deliver an engaging and inspirational physical education program for students in years 5-6.
Key responsibilities include:
- Designing and delivering a comprehensive physical education program that meets the needs of all students
- Working closely with classroom release teachers to achieve program goals
- Maintaining a positive and supportive learning environment that promotes student engagement and motivation
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A teaching certification in Health and Physical Education
- Experience working with primary and intermediate age groups
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
The estimated salary for this role is $65,000 - $85,000 per annum, based on the title, job description, and location.
