Anglian Home Improvements is seeking a skilled Warehouse Apprentice to join their experienced team. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain a Level 2 apprenticeship in Supply Chain Warehouse Operative and develop skills in warehouse operations.

This is a full-time, fixed-term contract for 18 months. The successful candidate will be required to complete a minimum of 6 hours of study and off-the-job training per week to achieve the apprenticeship qualification.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Unload lorries and quality check goods in
  • Organise products into the correct storing areas, adhering to Anglian procedures
  • Maintain the warehouse, loading, unloading, and skip areas to be clean and tidy
  • Pick, prepare, and cut plastic orders for despatch to installation teams
  • Maintain accurate stock levels using scanners and Anglian optimisation

Requirements:

  • Numeracy and literacy skills, minimum GCSE or equivalent in Maths and English
  • Ability and willingness to study for the qualification, including off-the-job training opportunities
  • Accurate and organised record-keeping skills
  • Good observation and information-gathering skills, able to identify and gather relevant evidence
  • Ability to remain calm and focused
  • Regular reviews with your line manager, develop a personal development plan, and opportunities to undertake training
