Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at a food manufacturer near Elgin. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our factory.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Resolve breakdown issues with minimal impact to production.
  • Complete all maintenance activities on time as planned.
  • Provide technical support for capital projects and improvement activities.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer, ideally gained within a food manufacturing or FMCG environment.
  • Competent at completing reactive and planned maintenance within a fast-moving, pressurized manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to work with other internal staff and external contractors to understand faults within machinery.
  • Comfortable working in a food environment.
  • Recognized engineering qualifications (NVQ / BTEC / HNC / City & Guilds etc.) or Time Served Apprenticeship (preferably manufacturing).
  • Knowledge of electrical engineering, including PLCs, control panels, single & three phase, installations, etc.
What We Offer:

A competitive salary, circa £40,000-45,000 (dependent on skills and experience), plus benefits. This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established food manufacturer who are competing strongly in their category.
