Job Overview

HA Acoustics is a dynamic consultancy that undertakes a wide range of environmental and building acoustics projects, including noise impact assessments, acoustic building and mechanical design, noise modeling, and sound insulation testing.

We are seeking an experienced Acoustic Consultant to join our team and contribute to the growth and development of our business. The successful candidate will have a strong background in acoustics, excellent time management skills, and a thorough understanding of British Standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Understanding and applying relevant UK noise policy, regulations, and standards
  • Processing data, report writing, and technical review work
  • Managing projects and advising clients on developments
  • Developing client relationships and liaising with clients, local authority officers, and stakeholders
  • Travel and surveys may be required outside of standard working hours
Requirements
  • Highly experienced in the acoustic industry, with relevant consultancy experience and documented technical work
  • Qualified to degree level (or equivalent) in acoustics or a related discipline, or hold the IOA diploma
  • Hold a membership grade of the Institute of Acoustics
  • Driving license
