About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team at Bridges Electrical Engineers in London. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for completing electrical installations in accordance with BS7671 and Bridges Electrical Safety Rules and Essential Standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure that all electrical installations are completed to the highest standards, in compliance with the project's quality plan and inspection and test plans.
  • Follow and actively promote the STAR dynamic risk assessment and be empowered to stop work should unsafe circumstances arise.
  • Coach and mentor Electrical Improvers and Apprentices.
  • Promote and demonstrate the Bridges' values when dealing with peers, staff, customers, and clients.
  • Promote positive health and wellbeing amongst peers.
  • Act in a professional manner and be an ambassador for Bridges, supporting the business goals and maintaining the company's positive reputation.
Requirements
  • ECS gold card (essential).
  • Experience as an approved Electrician.
  • Able to manage own and others workload with minimal assistance from Project Managers in delivering safe profitable projects.
  • Fitness to work medical.
  • Emergency first aid or First Aider.
  • Full UK driving licence.
Desirable
  • EUSR water hygiene.
  • Thames water passport.
  • Test and Inspect.
  • PASMA / IPAF / Confined space.
  • COMPEX.
  • Industrial and/or panel wiring experience.
