Are you a passionate and driven Sous Chef looking for a new challenge? We're seeking an experienced and skilled individual to join our team as a Sous Chef at Lounges. As a key member of our kitchen team, you'll be responsible for supporting our Head Chef, leading and engaging the team to deliver exceptional results. With a focus on fresh, high-quality ingredients and customer-led service, you'll be part of a dynamic and fast-paced environment that's always pushing the boundaries of excellence.

The Role

  • Support the Head Chef in leading the kitchen team to deliver 14 great shifts a week
  • Lead shifts, ensuring the kitchen runs effectively and safely
  • Manage stocks, Health & Safety, and Hygiene, ensuring our food goes out on-spec and on-time
  • Uphold 5* kitchen standards at all times

What You'll Bring

  • Experience as a Sous Chef or Junior Sous Chef/Assistant Kitchen Manager
  • Proven track record of delivering excellent kitchen and food standards
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to manage stakeholders and build rapport and trust
  • Knowledge of best practice around rota scheduling, sales, and labour forecasts
  • Demonstrated successful delivery of training and recruitment for kitchen teams
