About the role

We are seeking a Residential Worker to join our team at the Approved Premises. As a Residential Worker, you will be responsible for maintaining the safety and security of the Approved Premises, as well as providing care and support to residents.

Key responsibilities

  • Conduct regular inspections of the building and grounds, recording any occurrences or damage
  • Engage with residents in a pro-social manner and contribute to their well-being
  • Assist with risk assessments and ensure the AP is locked and secure during curfew periods
  • Supervise residents' meals, manage medication procedures, and maintain hostel records
  • Deal with visitors and contractors, and monitor CCTV equipment

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a similar field, with security and care work being valuable
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well in a team
  • Level-headed and security-conscious, with a commitment to maintaining the safety and security of the Approved Premises
